As you explore the questions in this thread, think about tools that you may have used to assist with ensuring written and oral communications are clear, concise, relevant, and credible. How can we, as professionals, ensure that our communication is clear and professional? Our lesson this week explains that through collaborating with others we can effectively communicate in our nursing practice (CCN, 2015). Collaboration often involves professionals from other disciplines such as physicians, pharmacists, physical therapists, and ancillary service workers. This leads us to explore how the professional nature of nursing affects interdisciplinary collaboration.
