You have been asked by your line manager to develop a management plan for the collection of waste from diabetics in the county. There are approximately 10,000 diabetics from across the county, who need to have their waste collected. Your report should contain the following: • A brief discussion on any key legislation and policies governing the management of the waste • An outline of the key waste and the nature and types of the key public health and waste management risks posed • Suggested approaches for the containment, labelling, collection and treatment of the waste from the households. • The approaches should be cost effective, address any key risks and be compliant with the legislation Ensure that there is sufficient information available to allow you to undertake a high quality piece of work. The assignment should be about 2,000 words (excluding figures and tables). It should be mainly high quality journal and industry references in a standard (preferably Harvard) format.
